- Step 2: Take the plug and see colour instructions.
- Remove the paper and also screws.
- Open up the plug and put the cover to one side.
- Step 3: Use the wire cutter to cut the outer jacket of cable.
- Step 4: See the colour instructions on the plug, based on that we can assign colour cables.
- Step 5: Use the wire strippers to strip away 1 cm of the plastic of the 3 wires to expose the copper cabling within.
- Step 6: Three wires is connected to the pins based on colour indication. And also tight the screws.
- Step 7: After doing this, you can now put plastic sleeve back into position. This will now keep the wires securely in place and prevent them from being pulled out of the pins by accident.
- Step 8: You can now put the plug cover back on to the plug and screw the star screw back on in order to close up the plug.
- Step 10: Once you have done this, you can now go ahead and plug it into the wall socket and your appliance will work.
