- A network printer is a printer that is installed directly on your network.
- A network printer is not dependent on a connected computer being on, but can be somewhat difficult to configure, especially if the printer is older.
Not all printers can be configured as network printers.
- Below steps included in installing a network printer driver.
Step 1
- Connect network cable to your printer and power on the printer.
Step 2
- Press windows home key and type control panel from your keyboard or windows key+s for search.
Step 3
- Click on Hardware and Sound.
Step 4
- Click on Devices and Printers.
Step 6
- Click on The printer I wasnt isn't listed.
Step 7
- Select My printer is a little older. Help me find it. And click on the Next button.
Step 8
- Select a printer and click on Next button.
Step 9
- Select Replace the current driver and click on Next button.
Step 10
- In this step it will show printer name and click on Next button.
Step 11
- In this step Installing printer.
Step 12
- Select Share this printer and click on Next button.
Step 13
- In this step successfully installed your printer driver click on Finish button.
